Othello 2015 | Pictures & Favorite Quotes

I had so much fun playing Desdemona in this summer’s Shakespeare in the Park production of Othello. This experience really challenged me as an actress and I can’t express how grateful I am to the directors for casting me in this role. The final week of dress rehearsals and performances was one of the most exhausting weeks of my life but ultimately so worth it! Below I have some of my favorite scenes and quotes from the play. Enjoy!

"I here do give thee that with all my heart I would have kept from thee..."

"Drown thyself? Drown cats and blind puppies!"

"Makest all the money thou canst."

"Some wine, ho!"

The men of Cyprus

"Michael Cassio, who came a wooing with you!"

Take note, oh world! We have photographic evidence that Desdemona was NOT to blame for losing her handkerchief.

"CURSED FATE THAT DIDST GIVE THEE TO THE MOOR!"

"By Heaven! That should be my handkerchief!"

"How am I false?"

"Alas, Iago, what shall I do to win my Lord again?"

"She had a song of willow and she died singing it...that song tonight will not go from my mind."

"Villain, thou diest!"

This might be the most sinister picture ever.

"Put out the light and then...put out the light."

"That death's unnatural that kills for loving!"

"Oh banish me, my Lord, but kill me not!"

The whole cast! So many amazing people!!
